The first annual show was held inside at the Truro Stadium in 1975, where they continued yearly until they outgrew the stadium by the early 80's.  By this time the numbers had reached approximately 40 cars. The club then decided to try their first outdoor Show & Shine, which was held in 1983 at the Nova Scotia Agriculture College in Bible Hill. This show paved the way to our successful outdoor shows we now have today. This first outdoor event was held in conjunction with the Big Brothers/Big Sisters as we donated the proceeds to them. We once again increased our numbers and with our second year at the College reaching approximately 100 cars, we had to move to yet another location to handle these large groups. In 1985 we moved to the One of our Hilden shows... Scotia Pine Camp Ground but by 1993 we had approached 500 cars and thus had to look once again for another facility that could handle our steady growth!  1994 was the first year for our present day location at the Debert Airport where we have had in excess of 1000 show cars, along with over 100 cars for sale in our Car Corral.  In 2005 we moved to the Truro Exhibition Grounds, running for two years in conjunction with the Truro Tulip Festival on the May Victoria Day long weekend.  Visit our Events page for more on this year's show on new dates!
